Vintage Borsalino 7 1/2 ( Punti 7)

Have a nice vintage Borsalino fur felt body in a large size of 7 1/2. Measures 8 3/8 x6 3/4.
Brim is 2 3/4. Open crown is about 6. This is a real nice light weight summer felt and a good older vintage felt. Partial label shows size of punti 7. Hat has been cleaned in gas bath and ready to go.
There are no flaws. Make this one your own by finishing it in a classic Stratoliner look with a thin ribbon or a classic wide ribbon look. I have vintage ribbons and roan sweat if you want to finish it your self.

Is that dark blue or black? Also, does it still have that bash, or has it been left open crowned?

Hi, this hat is actually dark blue and Not black like I first thought. I have started converting this already and have a brim binding, sweat , a d crown ribbon on, will be making a liner ASAP . Size is also 7 1/2-5/8.

Thanks David, Thats not a bad idea, will add it to my to do list,Ha, i had a few qs about size on this one so info is listed here.
hat measures 23 3/4 around edge of sweatband and the brim is 2 7/8. I would say this is going to probably fit a 7 1/2-5/8 size head best, Iam a 23 1/4 and theres lots of room .
