I did a search, and could not find any thread devoted to the display of peoples favourite books. So I thought I would start one. There must be other people who collect vintage books? Post pictures and description of your favourites. Here are two of mine:
"The Army / Shown to Children" c1914/15, no date of publication, the last library stamp dated Dec 1915, and references in the text indicate the Great War was just getting started.
Not exactly vintage, but the oldest in my collection, a 1562 edition of the great codification of the Byzantine legal code, th Justinian Code. Printed in Paris.
