The proportions on this hat should suit me well, and the non-leather sweat is intriguing. Sure hope I win.
Oh lord, my wife was telling me about this hat and another hat someone is selling an Art Fawcett on the bay....have to warn you, if she bids on that hat, it could get ugly, she does not know the term defeat when bidding. The last Hat she got me on the bay, she bid $450.00 just to make sure she would have beat the current bid of $135.00 a few minutes before the auction ended. Needless to say, she won. I think I have mentioned before, she bids like Godzilla when she wants to win something...

You are safe, she has not bid on it.

You passed my max, so enjoy the hat! :)
Oh lord. Humm...I am half tempted to have someone jump into the fray on this...as the great Sherlock Holmes would say, "...The games afoot"!!! lol!

I am sure Marc would enjoy more bidders as well. That is a great looking hat, and who ever grabs it up will be getting a great deal no matter what the bottom line will be.

Looks like Marc got lucky and has a couple of amateurs in a good old-fashioned bidding war. The question now is whether or not #2 has reached his max. I've seen bidding that went like this before then stopped and expected there to be a flurry of bidding in the final minute or so, but nothing happens. Somehow I don't think that will be the case this time! If these two don't keep at it until it gets ridiculous over the next three days I expect that there will be a couple of experienced and serious snipers taking aim at this hat at the end. Should be fun to watch! Unless, of course, you're a bidder.

Cheers,
Tom
