Yes! I used to get this quite often, not so much anymore. Like you say they are a stranger, it's none of their business! I couldn't believe the cheek of people to be honest, that they felt like they could just come up to me and say, "Cheer up love, it might never happen!" or "Give us a smile" etc. I've always blamed my default face (as you ladies have put it) as it's quite sullen with a downwards mouth, kind of like the model Devon Aoki.
