It is with much sadness that these are up for sale. I've been after a pair of zug grained veldtshoen or officers boots for what seems like ages. These came up on Ebay not long ago and i was the lucky winner. Sadly they're just way too wide for my narrow feet & ankles and no amount of thick sockage or insoling will make these a comfortable wear.
Uppers are very tough. Broken in by previous owner. Soles look virtually unworn
Beautiful boots. From what digging around i've done, these are an old pattern boot made by Alfred Sargent for Hoggs of Fife.
