I hope never to see that eyesore of a .sig again... Hopefully he
can register and tone it down a bit...

That said, I think the buyer has a right to know where what he or
she is buying is made, for whatever reason. I recently bought
Viberg boots (posted elsewhere) and like their policy: they have
top quality heavy work boots made in Canada and they have a
separate line made in Vietnam. It's very clear. Now I got the
Canadian boots, but some models of the Vietnamese boots do
appeal as well. And for the record a lot of the market for those
Vietnamese boots will be Japan, so it's not just our opinion that
matters and there is a certain practicality.

I agree, and think Vanson should clearly state if a jacket is made in the USA or someplace else on their website. For years Vanson proudly stated "Made in the USA" and now you only find out where it was made after you receive it. It sounds to me like pretty much all their jackets will be made overseas unless it's a custon made item or you specify that you want a USA made jacket. Thats my take on it anyway from talking to them. I know a lot of people could care less where it's made and that's their bussiness none of mine. I buy foreign goods as well as items made here. I would just like to know up front and not when it comes in the mail.
