Vanson Model J 40 - Old Heavy Duty Comp Weight! Like New

Not even fully broken in but I sadly need a 42 in this style so off it goes. This is the stuff Vanson dreams were made of, heavy duty grainy comp weight hide! I would own every style Vanson if this is what they still used today! $500 shipped in US, PayPal FF.

Note - the old zip in liner was very carefully removed at the zipper cloth base so there is still some tiny remnants of that fabric.

How I wish it was a 38. These are really cool jackets. I am a 40 but the Model J in a 40 was a bit too big on me.

Id bet this would fit you superbly if your a 38. This style needs the extra room to accommodate the usual clothing worn when you step up into a cool weather jacket. Wouldn’t want a tshirt fit in this beast!

Too big. I bought one from Vanson a few years back and the 40 was huge on me so I sent it back. I am a size 40 in everything not a 38 but would need a 38 in a Model J.

FYI. This is a true 40, definitely not oversized. If anything a snug fit. I’m an odd size 41 and can just about swing it with a thin layer but not more.
