Vanson Mercury fit check/measurements

People seemed to not know how snug Mercury's fit when I searched for it here so I thought I'd help clear it up some

Jacket is a 42
S2S: 19in.
P2P: 22.5in.
Waist: 19.25in.
Back: 23in.
Front: 23.5in.
Sleeves: totally forgot these, will do when I get back home
Should probably upload pics to show how I'm measuring these too

Fits pretty snug (42 chest here). Big fan of the taper, not sure what I think of the length. I probably should have worn pants with a belt on for the pics now that I'm thinking about it. Sleeves are pretty long but if you zip 'em up they'll stay where they need to be.

Definitely appreciate the advice from you guys to try vanson for fit though, the actual cut seems much nicer.

Looks good to me.
Yes it is short in the body, but this is a short jacket by design.
If you size up the shoulders are going to be off and the sleeves will be too long.
IMO it fits how it should.

Great fit. As Carlos said, body is super-short but it is by design. 23" is an absolute minimum for me, and I am 5'9".

I like them a bit longer but I do think it looks good. I like the aggressive taper to the waist...If it were too much longer and it hit your hip you wouldn't be able to close it. Kinda like my Hardcore HWM which is a bit shorter than my other jackets...it literally stops right below my belt.

I'm not sure if this one even makes it to the bottom of my belt (because my huge brain forgot to put one on before pics) but it does stop right around where my cross section starts getting wider again so if that's the idea they nailed it.

Would definitely appreciate a breast pocket like the highwayman has, the plain front seemed cooler in my head than in real life I feel. Still gonna keep it though because it's cooler and more durable than 97% of the other stuff I've got, the whole idea buying a ton of leather jackets here was to stop blowing through these things at the rate I am.

If the Ike I've got coming fits well then I think I'm just gonna be after a B3/B6/D1/ANJ4/etc shearling and I'll be good to go for a while here. Definitely learned I'm more of a brown leather guy
