Btw, have you guys ever seen a vanson leather jacket with a “SM” size label, and is it meant to say “SMall” or “Small-Medium”, or what numeric size would that be equal to?

I ordered a mouton/sheepskin collar for my Vanson E. It was finished but the "hair" length was too long and it totally looked like a fancy female sheepskin coat collar haha. I trimmed it pretty aggressively and it turned out very well in my opinion! Love it or hate it - here is the golden-ish real sheepskin collar on a Vanson model E to match the brass hardware as closely as possible!

I think it looks awesome and I love that contrast with the black! But it’s currently about the edge of length and size I would like. So I can only imagine what it looked like pre trim.

It arrived and man this thing is worth every cent. Arms are roomier than I’d like, but I knew this going in. Length is much better than expected. This thing is easily in my top 3 for now.

Ps: It got delivered without my fiancé being here to witness it. For all she knows it’s the same as all my other leathers. Until she asks about it a month from now.

I have times when I hope something arrives before the wife's in, later she'll say is that another jacket? Haha mm ........

Looks amazing!! Good job! I love brown collars on black jackets. Unfortunately, Vanson only makes black.

That’s actually my question I know for an upcharge Vanson will essentially make you anything but they only stock black collars. Did @TartuWolf find an old one on like eBay, did you pay a little more for Vanson to make it, or did you find a custom maker to get one? If I ever get another E I am interested in contrasting collars.

Local furrier made it for me.
I bought a sheepskin rug on local facebook marketplace for ~30eu and paid the furrier around 30eur to copy my existing black Vanson one out of my provided sheepskin for ~30eu. So ~60eu in total. Using their materials (didn't really like anything they had) would have been 45-50eu.
