I'm starting to think you have all the good Vansons :) Great info, might help us decipher when the best were made. Another gorgeous looking hide! I've got ton312's old Model E on the way from Australia, I think it's a late 80's, early 90's model. Haven't handled it yet but looking forward to it, right in time for the colder riding season too. Love the collar on yours. Is it a mouton from Vanson or faux?
It's the vanson collar, not sure if it's the faux,,its good quality if it is and works brilliantly for Scotlands shitty climate. I have the same competition weight on my two csrx cobras, one being the properf.they are fantastic riding jackets,,light years ahead of the imposters, from other makers.:)

You definitely have a well-thought-out collection for different riding climates. I've got the CSRX Avenger, their early 90's sport rider cut with the zip-down panels exposing perfed leather only in the front, and 2 zip vents in the rear. I do like it a lot, as a compromise between a perfed model and a solid sport rider. The solid sport rider like yours looks better, and the perfed sport riders like yours flow more air than mine. It's been hard to justify purchasing 2 jackets to replace the one I have. Can't say I don't still think about doing that anyway though. If I get the rest of the collection dialed in like I want it, maybe.

After riding in a lot of jackets, when I first saw your post of your collection, it just made sense. Well done man.

Buy them all, unlike lesser jackets you can always sell them on,anyone who's a motorcyclist knows the real deal as opposed to the poor copies, vanson are real riding jackets,as are langlitz.

So far, CSRX Avenger sport rider, Model E for cold, Model B for on and off the bike, and tobacco colored Model F for off the bike. 2 of those I bought after starting this particular thread not long ago. They multiply quickly lol. Purchased a new Oxford and a new Model A with armor from Vanson but sent them back, didn't like the leather. Took lots of pics and keep saying I'll make a post on those but I never get around to it. I plan on stopping for a while after I find an Enfield or Oxford in older CW. Famous last words lol.

Some of those Belstaff jackets are very nice, including that one! I wonder who made the jackets for them. And I could see those sport rider jackets covering most temperatures, especially with a base layer / liner. Throw a rain jacket in the mix and you're covered. Pun intended lol.

Belstaff made them in those days,,unlike they made after being sold off. They have become a posers brand,I wouldn't wear one going for a pint.

This version is a collaboration between Paul Cox Industries and Vanson. The pattern is so good, it fits a variety of body shapes
