Can anyone confirm if the Oxford is less of a 'Boxy" fit compared to the Enfield. More of a slim fit.

Other than that, material seems to be the same.

The Oxford 9D is less (slightly) boxy and has (in my opinion!) a far better collar shape. It also has a seam down the center back, which the ENF does not.

The Oxford is ever so slightly tighter in the same size but owning both patterns, I would argue it is pretty much the same jacket except for center seam at back and underarm gussets on the Oxford. Both jackets don‘t have a crazy taper through the body to give you that V-look and frankly they are too long for that anyway. If you want a snug agressively tapered jacket, look at the Mercury.

Vanson Oxford (black jacket) vs Enfield (tan jacket),

Both jacket are tag size 42, with almost exact same dimensions, 18.5" shoulder, 23" P2P, 22" Hem. BUT very different sleeves (holes).

The Oxford fits like a Cafe Racer jacket with more circular shaped armhole (higher armhole).

The Enfield fits like an A2 flight jacket with more oval shaped armhole (lower armhole).

So at the exact same dims, the Oxford feels like a tighter fit. The Oxford sleeve seam is visible from the front and the Enfield doesn't show the sleeve seam.

The sleeves are also actually the same width, but different hole shape making the Enfield feels roomier and looks roomier.

Other small difference, sharper collar on the Oxford, two inside pockets on the Enfield, unibody windflap on the Enfield, center back seam on the Oxford. Mostly very small aesthetic differences.

The biggest difference is the look of the fit. If you are a CR jacket guy, then go with the Oxford and all the Model B variants. If you are an A2 flight jacket guy, then go with the Enfield.

I had super high hopes for the Enfield but it turned out I am an Oxford guy through and through. Back to square one...

I think the Enfield looks great on you! I do hear what you say about fit and feel, but it IS a looker…
