Posting my Daytona up for sale here before putting it on Ebay. I ordered and received this late last year from Thurston Bros. This was a special order Daytona with sleeve stripes and patches deleted, added brass hardware, tartan lining, and most importantly a Model B collar as the stock collar for these jackets is very uncomfortable and cumbersome.
This jacket is basically brand new, I have only worn it a handful of times, and is not even remotely broken in, the new owner can have that privilege. It is a size Medium which per Vanson is about a 41 in standard sizing (please see measurements). It is a slim cut jacket. This is the X150 leather (Some styles never age. The Vanson’s heritage XL line is ‘old style’ at its best. With style cues dating back through the 40s and 50s these jackets harken back to the beginning days of the baby boomer era. The leather used on our Heritage XL line is hand finished using the finest waxes and oils. As these jackets age with use they will form to your body shape giving you a classic fitted look) which has a very nice hand and is quite stiff at first but should break in really nice.
Not sure how people like measurements taken so rough measurements are Shoulders ~18.5-18.75, Pit to Pit ~21", Waist 20", Sleeves ~26", Length ~26". For reference, I am 5'9" around 175-80 in the pics and it fits me great, I am fairly broad in the shoulders and chest. PP or MO, This jacket cost me close to $1000, but will let it go for $750 shipped to lower 48, others pay actual shipping cost. I am located in South Carolina. Thanks.
