Is the 21.5" pit to pit from seam to seam? Or are you including the side panels?
It feels very small for a M Vanson.

All the way across, regular pit-pit measurement. Trim Medium for sure, not for those with extra lbs. I'm more comfortable in a 42 chest wise but somehow this one just fits with only a T. For sure anyone who's a 40 normally would be an excellent fit.

Agreed! That's why Im always pleasantly surprised ordering a Vanson. So so stock image, but when the actual product arrives, its excellent. Im just cursed with the in between sizing, swimming in Large, sometimes Medium works, other times I need a 42 which is loose etc. I measure exactly 41" chest...
