Hi, Thanks for confirming as I wasn’t really sure as there are a lot of lookalikes out there. I know it’s probably impossible to date as the label is missing but would be interesting to know. Kind regards

Hello Loungers. I just bought a Greenbrier N-3b, with it's fake fur hood trim removed as a field mod. In order to understand the purpose of removing it, I have to understand what it's function was in the first place- but I don't. I can understand putting a brown fur trim on an OD jacket...

I have just discovered this as you replyed. Hopefully I can date it useing this thread. Appreciate the post

It is difficult to tell without any tag. There are very good repros that copy every aspect of an original.

Indeed... it's in really good condition to have a missing tag. I had an original (Albert Turner, mid-50s) that was heavily banged up, nylon colour fade, fur gone, and the tag was in great condition. So who knows? Maybe this one is a Buzz and someone took off the tag to try to flog it as original? Of course, the funny thing is if it's a Buzz or Real McCoy then I'd argue it's superior quality than an original would be!
