This is a follow up to my post back in Feb/March; How long is reasonable to wait for a jacket modification? Well after 9 months and a bit and a few stressed emails from me my jacket arrived mid March( It would be unfair of me if I did not mention Covit/Lockdowns played a big part in the delay). The jacket an Aeronaut A-1 I sent back to have the collar replaced with some thing more conventional. Andy (BK) was limited as to the collar they could make due to the larger size opening the boat collar occupied. I think he said this was similar to a Westfall collar.
Anyway I am over-all happy with what they managed to do (maybe a little larger than I would ideally like but..). I have had three jackets and this mod from BK and although it is rarely a smooth ride dealing with BK they always seem to do well by me in the end and produce what I think are lovely jackets.
