Lightly used somewhat “civilized” custom RAF made in U.S.A. This is the best quality jacket I own, fits me well with room for layering. But it’s just not getting worn since purchasing in 2019.
I liked the RAF style, but wanted a slightly less “authentic military”, slightly more civilian look. Most notable: Reduced collar width, removed zippers at cuffs and longer body length.
Also tweaked sizing by ordering a stock jacket and returning with sizing notes. These notes along with styling tweaks are included in photos. I started with a size 40 with an expansion here and tuck there. I’d estimate the final size to be a roomy 42.
Note the neck strap change in description. I deleted the d-ring in favor of a “belt” style. It was sent without hole punches.
3/4” loft fur is thick, luxurious and consistent with no flattening. No discoloration at inside collar.
Light scuffs here and there, most significant near one elbow, see pics. I’d estimate about a dozen full-day wears. Outer layer sheepskin is nice and thick, but does seem to show wear quickly.
I will include fit pics later. These retailed at $925 in 2019, around $1200 with my customizations. Used price $575 with shipping included in CONUS. Thanks!
