TWO ORPHANED JACKETS FOR SALE

Herein two jackets that are too big for me. Obviously they are both wrinkled but they just need to be pressed. There is no colour variation. Any variation is due to uneven lighting. The first is by Middishade, and bears a 1949 union label. Dark blue with white pinstripes.

Chest: ~21.5"
Waist: ~20"
Arm: ~23.5"
Length: ~29"
Shoulders: ~18.5"

Spots are on the camera lens, not the jacket. The only damage is one little moth bite on the part of the jacket that is hidden when fastened.

The second jacket is a late 1930s brown DB with grey chalk stripes. It was made by Hampton Heath. There is a little bit of damage to the bottom of one of the arms, along with a bit of discolouration to a couple of the pinstripes. None of this is visible upon brief inspection when the jacket is being worn.

Chest: ~20.5"
Waist: ~18.5"
Arm: ~24.5"
Length: ~29"
Shoulders: ~18"

As always, PM if interested.

You're right. That's because they usually are. it's a damn site harder to make them look just right. You pretty much have to have an ensemble set up just to wear the jacket . . . Light grey flannel works well - picks up the stripe nicely. these trousers are particularly successful i think because they themselves are quite busy (red windowpane check). Does not distract from the jacket, but gives the eye something to look at other than the fact that it's an orphaned suit jacket.
