Hello all,
Thought I post a few pics of some military (or military-esque) garments I've found recently in thrift stores.
Garment #1: Is this some sort of bush jacket? I thought at first this was a hunting jacket, with the odd camo pattern, the cut, the waist belt with metal grommets make me wonder. Lined in orange-red nylon/rayon. Small size. Only tag in side says "dry clean only"? Any guesses?
Garment #2: The buttons, pocket styling, side waist tabs, and lightweight poplin fabric looks like WW2/post-war but the tags, which are in Cyrillic, look more modern. I know the Russians re-issued a lot of surplus WW2 uniforms long into the 50s, but I'm no expert. Is this even Russian?
I'm stumped on both of these but I'm sure the resident experts have a few ideas. Have fun, and thanks in advance.
