So cool! There have been a couple of Tweed Runs here in New York over the last couple of years. Most recently in Brooklyn, with a few dozen hardy cyclists. It's an awfully young phenomenon, but one must say that the London Tweed Run is the grand daddy of them all. I'd like to see Tweed Runs in lots more cities! San Francisco? Portland? Boston? LA?

I went and had a great day out with like minded souls. I have cultured a handlebar for the past five months in preparation for it and boy was it worth it.

I must doff my cap to the penny farthings, they were stylish and brave.

There were a great deal of super bikes as you would expect and the effort of the riders to achieve a great look........ah it was a great sight, cycling around, the tourists and taxis drivers loved it as much as we did

I went to the Tweed Ride here in Toronto last fall, and had a wonderful time, I was voted dandiest chap. I am looking forward to this years tweed ride as it really is a fun day. Though I would love to make to the original one day.

There are reportedly rides in Boston and Providence RI, although I'm a bit out of the loop. I'm watching the Boston Retro Wheelmen Facebook page for the date of this fall's ride.
