I think there's tweed, and then there's tweed, as well. There's looks that I (an admitted very girly imaginary-bride-since-childhood) think could be charming, especially for a morning affair. Leather elbow patches and cordovan boots on the other hand... I would arrange them an accident. lol
If its one of the dressier, "smoother" tweeds it could be all right. No offense but I'm more worried about what you mean about stand out from the other groomsmen. Do you mean different vests and accessories? Or are you wearing tweed and they're wearing...? If it is different, something of similar formality, I hope. You don't want it to look like you wandered in from a different wedding altogether, is all I'm saying.
