This show aired last week on RTE - the national station here. I love the Waldorf barber shop (more here on this barbershop)

It was great fun being involved in the filming. I am sure all Golden Era aficionados will enjoy the content of the broadcast.

I envy you, Mr. H! Here in the states, it's difficult to find a traditional barber shop...nearly impossible to find one that still offers a hot lather shave plus all the amenities!

When I was in last week, the barber showed me a mint condition barbers' text book from the 50s with some superb illustrations: all sorts of variations of "D.A."s etc.

Look at the first 20 seconds of this for an idea.
