Poor Patty Smyth. Did you know that she was a friend of Valerie Bertinelli when the David Lee Roth/Van Halen split happened and she was actually offered the singer role before anyone else? A very different Van Halen we would know today. Not to say they wouldn't be AWESOME!

That would have been interesting. Van Halen starring Patty Smyth. Better looking than Sammy Hagar---to me anyway.

I agree. Sammy's not aging well either... I think I would have liked Van Smyth better than I liked Scandal. Though they had some good songs, they were a little too much pop for me.

She's been appearing as one of the adult character's mom. And a sordid update of MrsRobinson. She was wearing trendy `60s gear and I couldnt get over how young she looks.
