We are used to seeing orphaned jackets for sale. But this is the other way around: the jacket has gone, leaving just the trousers and waistcoat. They will look fantastic worn with a light weight, light coloured summer linen/cotton jacket. Very much the look for the Englishman walking on the promenade on his summer holidays at almost any time in the mid 20th century image (matched with a nice pair of white cricket shoes).
