Dean, this that Connecticut hat a tan or grey? The Maryland and New York are definately tan, but I can't quite tell on that Connecticut.

Grey. Definitely grey from what I saw on that collector guy's site, and it is my favorite non "montana peak" hat.

I used to live in upstate New York and the Trooper hats looked more like Conneticut's than the current. It seems odd to me that they would switch to a cattlemen's crease.

Along time ago the NYSPD used to wear the exact style
8-point cap as the NYPD wear now. Baltimore, Washington Dc, SF, have diffrent style 8-point caps than the NYPD. I think of the ones I listed Baltimore and the NYPD are the only ones with a mandatory hat policy. NYSPD now have the exact style hat as CSPD, but I think those hats are pretty dorky.
