I am actually hoping that this jacket is "neater" cut than the current Highwayman as I find a 44" in recent Aero jackets well a bit "roomy" !

I currently have a very young Blue label Highwayman ( ex Alex Lutov thanks) and it is way roomy compared to my Schott or Simmons Bilt collection.

( Both of my Simmons Bilt offerings fit me "better/neater" than the Aero Blue label. From my readings on the subject that is indeed the case with recent Aero Highwayman renditions )

As ever, the best way to find out the fit of an Aero shy of visiting the factory or Insurrection is to contact Holly.

The Simmonds Bilt version of the Highwayman is well known to be the same cut as the Aero, but they size them one-up so an SB in the same size will always fit one-smaller than the same numerical size Aero. Very similar to the Schott 618 v 118.

Ha! I had my eye on that one, it looks very nice indeed. I had a Hwymn from the early ‘90’s. the fit was actually what I’d call ‘true to size’. It was a 42 & fitted like one.
so, fingers crossed, you’ll be in luck. nice find.
