Ah! Yes.... I remember Mr Freedom did something in these lines, but the leather/canvas mix is very Thedi. I like the 'ruggedised' version of the original design by adding the leather pads. Reminds me of the relationship between the Lewis Lightning and the later Lewis Star Lightning models.
I'm a massive Barbour-ist, but I must admit that I swooned like anything over the Mister Freedom interpretation when I first saw it. It was the Mulholland Master

Still looks flippin' brilliant.

Yes, it was a very nice take on the theme. I still like the Barbours too - I think they're just as good as the Belstaffs, but significantly cheaper. Feels a bit like they abandoned the motorcycling heritage these days, though - no models with armour pockets, and wax cotton alone won't even offer much in the way of abrasion resistance. Pity they don't do an armoured model with a kevlar layer in the lining.

Also wish someone would make a model just 6" longer so it could be worn over a blazer. All of them seem just that tiny bit too short for it. Great look, though - on or off the bike. I've always preferred the look of the wax cotton over the leather models, but I have to admit that the Gold Top Patrol in tan is calling out to me... https://www.goldtop.co.uk/product-page/the-patrol

How I agree with a choice of jacket length. Years ago I bought a short length leather overcoat to wear over a blazer or suit, it was a lovely coat, very warm but it had shades of Gestapo appearance, so much so that when I was asked if I wanted to sell it, I did.
The Gold Top Patrol has some of Ashwoods DNA, this was one of the leathers that went so well with the Harley and similar to Nick looking for something to go with the Mini, I had interchangable tan seat covers and tan panniers to go with the Ashwood. I must have had more money than sense too.

Lots of cool suggestions. It's not leather but I'd part with this since I don't have my MINI any longer (sorry for the spam).

Nice jacket, maybe someone could add a pink fur collar to it for nick? After all, we are looking for a jacket to go with a AUTOMATIC Mini. :) (I also drive an automatic, but that's a Volvo, so its totally different. I am also thinking of having Lost Worlds make new seat covers for it from +5 oz fqhh to make it more masculine.)

You guys know nothing of driving in LA! A stick is really no fun if you can't go over 15 mph.

Well, I visit Moscow on regular basis, so I know thing or two about traffic jams... :) but this is not the point. Automatic is fine, but not with a Mini. That's like Vanson CHP made of lambskin, to put it in jacket language. :)

Edit: LA seems to be even worse than Moscow, even though that's quite hard to imagine for me: http://fortune.com/2018/02/06/most-congested-cities-worst-traffic/

On a more serious note, the LW HH could make great upholstery as it's so tough. I woudn't be worried about spilling food on it for example :)

Our mighty upholstery laughs at spilled food and beverages! No better interiors were made. Ever. Other manufacturers are awestruck! Not for puny hipster vegan princesses driving around in their electric cars and whining about global warming.
