Hi, long time reader; just registered. I'm looking to trade my Schott 641 jacket size 38 for a 141 size 38. I bought my 641 new directly from Schott in 2016 and love it but I've grown sideways just a little and need to size up. I've read that the 141 is about one fit size up compared to the 641 for the same marked size (so, size 38 141 = size 40 641.) I recently visited the Schott store in NYC to try them on and compare and it's true; the 141 sz 38 fit me perfectly (I considered the sz 40 641 but it jumps up an inch longer while the sz 38 141 is the same length as my 641 sz 38 and that works for me.)
My 641 shows normal wear for a 7 year old jacket that has been worn moderately and loved. I take it on the bike and sometimes off, never in the rain, kept on my Schott hanger (included + liner.) This is a beautiful jacket that is just starting to show its character. I'm looking for a 141 (38) in black, CONUS, and made in the last 10 years or so (I'm not worried about normal wear; just want to ensure it has the current model 141 cut and measurements.) Do you love your 141 but would like to size down? Let's trade!
