Hello,
Some time ago, I was discussing with fellow lounger Gene (HarpPlayerGene) about some spare feathers he was going to kindly send me. Not that I am fond of such an aditament generally speaking, but I have a couple of hats which look like could look good with them.
Well, a couple of days ago, as it happened, I received a package, and, discovered, in Gene's own words, that he decided to send the feather... with a hat attached to it.
It is a lovely shade of coffee brown Knox, with a 2'' brim. Bow treatment is nice! The feather is a panache of brown and orange hues.
Today I premièred the hat. I must add this is the first time I wear a fedora I have not myself bought, so it felt like it was an special occassion; hence, I substituted my usual necktie for a more dressy diamond-tip bowtie (self styled of course ), in golden tone with orangeish accents, seeking to harmonize with the feather.
Thanks Gene! You have made a happier man of me today.
