Topper!

HA! Bet you thought you'd see a hat huh? HAHAHAHA :eusa_doh:

Well, this is a new little item I picked up for my old Plymouth... it's a vintage license plate topper and it has a copywrite of 1935 on the back... but, it seems to have a good 30's to 40's feel about it... and here it is!

YEH MAN!

How about that huh? I've never seen one like it till today, and I HAD to have it!

I put it in my back window since I took the picture today... I figured that I'd wanna drive around with it in the window, I'd be better having it IN the car and not on the outside seeing that it wouldn't take much to pop it off if someone came along who felt they'd liked it more.

What do ya'll think?

I remember back in the late 70s finding an old license plate. My friends and I were walking around in the desert in Victorville. We were walking around out in the middle of nowhere and there it was. Laying on the ground for who knows how long a Ca license plate. I picked it up it was 1930 something. I got the impression it came off a truck. I had visions of a coughing wheezing stake bed. I was carrying a rifle and all sorts of junk so I laid it on a boulder and left it there. To this day I am still kicking myself in the butt for leaving it there.

Some times I take Jenny out for a stroll to Bob's in Burbank... the only old Bob's still standing! They have a cruise night every Friday. Haven't been able to get over there in a wile but, I'd like to try and go soon.

First off - darn you FM. I spent most of the day looking at Toppers - I think I'm becoming obsessed.
