Tom Cruise's half-belt... vintage?

I remember having a conversation with Nick Ashley in his shop in which he mentioned that David Beckham had an group of stylists who roved London and bought interesting pieces for him to wear. I wouldn't be surprised if Messrs Cruise and Depp have the same arrangement.

The Nick Ashley shop closed a while back, but he's now designing for Private White VC, which has a similar sort of vibe.

Yeah, I thought this. I think these guys are dressed by some kind of style assistant. It must be terrible going shopping with a legion of bodyguards behind and every body looking at you. :eeek:

They do. TC is a small guy. He could buy vintage all day long.

Of course these guys don't dress themselves, or buy from themselves. I wouldn't expect either of them to know much about leather (or denim or boots). It's more surprising to me that the people they pay couldn't come up with nicer jackets/looks. As mentioned though I've seen both those guys wearing more authentic and nicer looking stuff in the past. The jacket Cruise is wearing above is great.
