My grandfather, who actually didn't have much hair loss, used to say that in his day "they made men and not hair." I suppose he developed this more in response to the fact that he was not a hairy man at all chest, beard, etc not much.

I have said that once I start to go blad I am totally shaving my head. I think I'll have another 10 years before that gene kicks in, so for now I'm enjoying have a full head of hair.:cool2:

I first noticed thinning at the crown at 22 when I first joined the air force. By the time I was 25, it was bigger and I had started receding at the temples.

Just before my 28th birthday, it all came off, and it hasn't had more than about 4 days' worth of growth ever since, trying to shave every other day at least.
