Tipis

Anyone have any experience camping with Indian tipis? I've been thinking about putting one up on private land on a seasonal basis. Most modern tipis are made of duckcloth & are fire retardant but what I am wondering about is treesap dripping on the duckcloth, turning to mold & eating a hole in the cloth.

Any experiences & input on tipis would be appreciated.

The greatest entertainment in the whole wide world is watching a couple set up a tipi for the first time. Six-pack and chair worthy. Set down and enjoy the show. It has caused more than one divorce.
