Some detail shots of my @aeroleatherclothing Ridley jacket that I came across when browsing through some older pictures. It is my second Aero jacket, but the first one I got through working with Carrie from @thurstonbros to nail the fit. The craftsmanship that Julie Leitch put in this classic crosszip is outstanding. She’s been with Aero Leather Clothing since more than 30 years. All Aero jackets are being hand-crafted by one machinist in Galashiels, Scotland. The color is captured quite well in the pictures. The jacket is made from Cordovan (colored, not shell) @horweenleather Front Quarter Horsehide Chromexcel leather that is still breaking in after more than three years of wear.

@Carrie @ Thurston Bros., could you speak upon the differences between the J-106 and the Ridley. I know the latter is a slim-fit pattern, but the J-106 is pretty slim-fitting, too, right? I'm curious where exactly the differences are. In the armhole openings? Chest-to-waist drop? Thanks in advance!

Hi Cheech,

The Ridley is a slim fit pattern, whereas the standard J106 is a traditional fit! If you want a slim fit, the Ridley would be the way to go.
