Thanks for the comments on the shop!

An Insurrection/Thurston Bros. customer models his Vanson Comet PLU-3 over his Knox-armored Venture Shirt along Nevada Hwy. 50, one of the most desolate roads in America. This photo was taken two weeks after the jacket was purchased...two weeks on the road does wonderful things to Vanson Competition Weight leather!

Carrie, do you know if aero are shutting down for a few weeks this August? As I recall, that's the time they usually close for a hoilday

Just received my jacket today, Thanks to the folks at Insurrection for helping me with my order and keeping me updated the whole way.

One concern is that the sleeves are a little long. Not sure if I want them shortened or not but if I were to want to shorten them about an inch is that something you could take care of or would it have to be sent back to Aero? - Tim

I would wear it a few months prior to having any shortening done. The thick horsehide sleeves will crease and you will notice some shortening. Much better to have too long than too short. Looks to fit pretty well, although it may be a few months before you'll be wearing that jacket in North Carolina!

Tim,

We're happy to provide alteration services to our customers! We do alterations and custom work right here in our shop in Seattle. If you need the arms shortened, this is something we can take of...but the advice below is very good!

If the alterations can be done after wearing it for a bit without affecting it then I will take that advice and try to break it in a little bit in the a/c. It feels a little bit large but I think that will work with a sweater underneath it and I am hoping once it breaks in a bit the body of the jacket will drape a little more and fit better. Thanks for the advice - Tim

I would definitely not rush to make any alterations for at least a year or two. Great to come across someone with arms even longer than mine! :D Great looking jacket overall.
