Some cool custom Vanson jackets coming through--here's a CHP with a custom fit and real mouton snap-off fur collar! The fur has a slight black fleck that catches the camera flash and gives it incredible character. If you'd like to get fitted for a custom or stock Vanson jacket, contact us at sales@thurston-bros.com to reserve a fit jacket and start your order!

Man post up some fit pics!! Killer jacket there!

Will do... it was originally suppose to arrive yesterday but there was some type of situation with UPS so now it won't be here until Friday. Once I get it I'll get some pics.

Now to plan my next jacket... thinking of a Aero Bootlegger with a j106 style d-pocket in Vicenza darkened brown leather.

I'm anxiously awaiting my Bootlegger now. Hoping for a festivus miracle.

Incredible, I was first batch shipped over, 5 week turnaround. Got delayed other day otherwise woulda been here sooner.
Wow. Meanwhile. 13 weeks is about to be in my rear view mirror. I feel I might be turning green here...in more ways than one.

Your Bootlegger was finished today and will ship tomorrow. It is one hell of a jacket looks great.
Apologies that yours was a little longer than planned but we had to firstly wait for the Chrxl Steer from Horween (almost around the corner from you) but there was then some pattern work.

I know it can be frustrating seeing others “jump the queue”, sometimes at the factory we are out of certain Leathers meaning that orders we have from Leathers in stock sometimes leapfrog the queue. Once we get restocked the backlog becomes priority. We are dealing with a natural product tanned by hand, we are unfortunately often plagued by late deliveries due to this.
Jackets with minimal changes from standard pattern also more likely to pass through in a shorter time. Custom jackets require a lot more work across all departments.
With factory lead times we try to be as realistic as possible and would prefer to over estimate rather than fail to promise. We like it to be a pleasant surprise when we can deliver early.

Whaaaaaaaaaat?!?!? Wow. I have been served. I'm actually a bit embarrassed (for whining) but also overwhelmingly happy. I know certain things are beyond the control of all parties concerned. Thanks for the message Denny. You made my day!

I was assuming that because I had a standard highwayman w only added length in dark seal, it was maybe more common of a make. Feeling very lucky for sure...the waiting is the hardest part

It's terrible. I've gone thru many cycles with many makers. Never gets easier.

So glad to hear @ton312's jacket is nearly ready to leave Scotland!

Aero is really working hard to get as many jackets through before the holiday break as possible and we will be shipping them out up until December 22nd (shipping resumes on the 26th). We won't ship unless we've contacted you, so don't worry that your jacket will arrive while you are away from home!
