Thurston bro's custom aero Ridley w/ full action back, fit check!

Hey guys! Long time lurker, and this is my first post. I had received my jacket about a month ago but figured I'd wear it in a bit before posting some photos! I must say, I absolutely love the construction of this jacket. It's the J-106 style, with a Ridley fit and full action back from Aero. Leather is the black tumbled FQHH.

Here are the pics! Love this jacket, and can't recommend Thurston Bros more. Though, I wish Aero was willing to use a heavier gauge for the main zipper!

Part of me thinks maybe I should have sized down to a 38 rather than a 40, but I'm quite enjoying the ability to move! It still fits a bit snug, but not restrictive.

What do you guys think?

Welcome to the lounge and congratulations on a great first post!
That jacket fits perfectly man, don’t kid yourself that you could’ve done any better changing anything about it.
To be honest I’m not sure if you could zip it up nor cross your arms if you had gone any tighter.

Welcome aboard! I really like how they’ve adapted the d pocket to the slimmer fitting Riddley. Fit looks spectacular. If you dropped a size it would be way too small. Perfect fit! If I ever do another j106 I’d drop size the waist. That seems to be the best way for me to get the fit I prefer from Aero. Anyway, spectacular jacket!

Having a Ridley too, I can assure you the fit is perfect! No way the jacket would have been comfortable in a size smaller! Wear the hell out of it!

I agree good fit Thurston has the fitting of Aero jacket down you did good to trust their experience.

Hey guys! Thank you for the comments! I guess it's just my "wonder if a different size might have fit better". The kind of guy who tries on a medium shirt and fits perfectly, but will try on the S and the L sizes just to see, lol!

Also, here are some pictures of the back, though not the greatest. These photos were basically taken minutes right after i opened the box and my girlfriend took pics so I could see how they would fit. We were in a park somewhere in California to go trail running.

Full AB is a good call on the j 106 or r 106 in this case. Looks good!
