Thanks for posting, though. All of the guys in my hubby's unit came back in January after 16 months in Iraq, thank goodness.

As for Viet Nam all I know is that is you didn't get divorced from the world real fast you got dead. Usually within 4-6 weeks desensitized you so that you didn't really care about what happened to you. All you cared about was making sure your buddies were safe. Anybody that got short and started counting down the days left were distracted to omuch to count on. Oh well...[huh]
