Thoughts on a Schott straight zip police jacket

I see quite a few of these police jackets for sale online at pretty reasonable prices. I’ve never seen one in person. Any thoughts?

Nice jacket. Are you looking for this style NYPD, any style NYPD jacket, or any straight zip police jacket?

This style. I believe they made an older version with 2 snaps per pocket and no hand warmers.

Ok. It’s one of my saved searches so I’ll keep an eye out. Some other makers built jackets in this style. In HH too, if that is a preference. Not a very common jacket.

Nice functional "tool" jacket here. I take it the fur collar snaps off?

As a functional daily driver/work style jacket, it would be a good addition to someone's collection. As Carlos rightly says in his review, it's for function and all - day comfort & warmth, not really to be a style jacket.

Which of course, is exactly why it likely will be a style jacket at some point in the future...
