It sounded so good that I prepared it for supper tonight. Took a bottle of herring in wine sauce, drained it, added a pound of thinly sliced fresh onion, some minced fresh dill, a pint of sour cream, and served it with buttered, parslied fingeriling potatoes, and three bean salad which I put up last August.
