Thinking of selling my Schott JD-2 - Thoughts on Pricing

Greetings All, looking for some information regarding current value for the Schott JD-2, Size 44. I am the original owner and purchased it from a small leather shop in Los Angeles when I was a student in college. I value the opinions of the community here as many have significant collections and many years of knowledge regarding these jackets. Aside from wearing it 4 or 5 times when it was new, it has lived its life in a garment bag and I’m clearing some things out of the closet. Any input on pricing this would be greatly appreciated. Forgive the quality of the pictures. I can send along additional photos if needed.

The JD-1 was once on my wish list...

Your jacket looks to be in excellent condition. However the JD-2s isn't as well known as the Perfecto jackets so you will have to be patient and wait for the right buyer. If you just google Schott JD-2 Yahoo auction you can find out the Ebay and Yahoo sold prices. They're no where near the mint condition as your jacket but people will use those numbers as a bench mark so gotta be patient.

Thanks much Canuck, when I was at school all those years ago, I literally tripped over this small shop in Westwood, had to have this jacket and had no money, of course, so it went on the credit card - I worried about rent later LOL. I see the "Perfecto" is everywhere in the literature and on the net and for good reason, they are very cool :). Will keep this post going and see what happens, hoping someone out there knows about them and wants a virtually new one! I'm learning more every day on this site - thanks again!
