Item description from OFAS: Western Dress Hat, Bailesoni Wool Felt, Exc. Condition
Vintage Western type hat made by Bailesoni. Marked "Made in USA", "Qualita Superiore" and "Imported Furs" inside the hat.
Sometimes called "open road" style -- this style was made famous by presidents like LBJ.
The hat does not have a size tag on it but the circumference inside the hat is 22.5 inches.
Measuring the hat inside from side to side it is 6.5 inches wide; measuring from front to back inside is 8.25 inches. It has a black leather sweatband.
The brim is 3 inches.
There is a ribbon around the crown and a silk edging around the edge of the brim.
Color is a light camel color.

It is hard to find a vintage hat that is in this kind of condition
The hat is a little small for me -- as if I measure the circumference of my head, it is 24 inches.

... I don't think were looking at a Borsalino here, as much as I might hope, the "Made in the USA" kinda' puts the kibosh on that, but the manufactuer as spelled gets no hits on GOOGLE either... I am stumped so I am seeing if ya'll have ever run upon this maker. Of course is it is hard to tell bugger-all about it from a tiny 2k photo on someones kitchen chair, maybe why no one else dropped the hammer on it first.
