I just received a leather sample package from Theodoros. (Thanks again, Theo!). I took some comparison shots outside for you guys to see. Really some beautiful options and now the hard decision begins. I'm going to order up a Shawl collar when I decide. Enjoy!

The only jacket I've had was a 30s halfbelt in Seal goat...that I stupidly sold. But thinking maybe the Coffee brown in Buffalo.

Definitely the Cognac Buffalo. If I were getting a Thedi in any style, I don’t care what it’s that color. It’s another level color.

It is. The almost burnished characteristic it has. Man it's a jaw dropper. Fo sho'

Truthfully I have no regrets or second doubts about the cognac buffalo. B I really like the dark brown shades almost as much. But I think this is uniquely Thedi, and it has so much life to it in person.

My selfie stick is awol at the moment, so these are all arms length close ups. Sorry for how awkward it is to take a selfie.

I like the (Horse) dark rich brown color. What about thickness (oz)? What are the options available?

Theodoros will tell you what he uses, just ask. I think mostly he works with 1.1-1.2mm thickness, but I asked him to go thicker for Triangle Man, and he did. I think 1.4-1.5mm but I'm not sure. It's very strong stuff, whatever the thickness.

Yes makes sense about the thickness. Seems to be as guppy stated.
The cognac is a lovely color. I think I'm more of a shade of brown guy.

Whichever you choose I'm sure you'll be happy. Thedi is mic dropping leather jacket designs and his leather options are right there with them.

I am used to Vicenza leather from Aero...

I received a couple more pics of jackets in the leather colors I’m considering:

This first is the brown horsehide. And wow it looks amazing too!,

Next, this is the cafe/coffee/espresso brown Buffalo. Lovely!

I don’t think I can go wrong with either.

Yeah, don't worry about that. Breaks in very fast.

In the pic of brown horse to the right what's that reddish looking one to the left? Is that red horse?

And in the pic above that oneoone,wh brown buffalo is on top of brown goatskin what's that one at the bottom? Is that goatskin too?

I was on the Thedi FB Page the other day and saw an article/interview I forgot who did the interview but it’s irrlevant, if you poke around the official Thedi FB Page you’ll see the article I’m referencing. It says the secret oil/waxes that give his jackets that unmistakable Thedi look is actually beeswax. Not sure if it’s just straight up beeswax, some magic elixir he’s concocted that includes beeswax. But in any case that is the final finish that is applied to the majority of his jackets.
