Welcome Peter!

Greetings Barry and all, never fear , bookster is here, I've only just found time to join this wonderful site, and am more than disappointed to discover a less than satisfied customer, I wish you had contacted me about the problem, our service always extends to after sales support.
Please return the suit , I will have it cleaned and RE PROOFED by our specialist. He is an ex royal /savile row dry cleaner, his standards are the highest, he re proofs certain items for us, ( re oils the cloth ) it makes the cloth feel like new, there is an odour from this process, that will go with airing, but I am confident the mustiness you refer to will be gone, and the cloth will be good for another 20 years or more, at which point I can arrange a repeat performance!. We explain in our trading terms that we only clean a proportion of our inventory, at any one time, we have many hundreds of items (not all on ebay), so routine cleaning of each item is impossible for us.
We will not charge for the cleaning or shipping, I look forward to hearing from you
Warmest Regards, Peter ( Lord Bookster of Bladen, Tweedster Extraordinaire, rake, wag and dandy)

Hi JD ,Glad you enjoy browsing our offerings, the emphasis is on overcoats at the moment, but the jackets keep coming. English Sheepskins are also one of our seasonal offerings, I've never liked the idea of wearing them over formal clothing myself, however cold it is, but they did in the 60's, with a trilby hat too. Sadly ( or not?), they became associated mainly with used car dealers, 'spivs' and criminals, as a status symbol ( they cost a kings ransom then, and now if of high quality), who usually drove jaguars, and paid for by their ill gotten gains, they are often seen in British films from the 60's featuring such characters, Peter
