So instead, find things to be thankful about, even if they are small. It's a mindset thing, negative just rolls like a snowball...


I will start.

I am thankful that I have a roof over my head, and food.

I am thankful that I have a mother that is in reasonable health and that i can be close to.

I'm thankful for my warm little house, my garden, my two cats and my reliable car.

I'm also thankful I have both my parents, together, healthy (unless extreme grumpiness on my dad's part is considered an ailment! lol) and that my brother is doing well for himself. Even though he earns more than me, and is two years younger, the git! lol

The wife, son, and I are all in good health and happy. What more could a fella want?

I agree! You would have to be careful what type of PJ's you wear to bed, though! Don't want to give anyone a show if you stretch after you wake up in the morning!

I'm thankful for my twin sister. She is my best and sometimes only friend.
I'm thankful the heat works. I love heat.
I am thankfull I was able to see Tori Amos from 2nd row orchestra pit.
I don't believe in self fulfilling prophecies though.
I have been trying like the devil to harness the power of positive thinking, it just doesn't work for me.

I even made my motto:

I am thankful for the AMAZING November weather we've been having in the sunny Southwest.

I'm thankful I have two smart, well adjusted daughters.
