Sunbody's Open Road is basically one of their "fine palm" hats with a 2-1/2" brim and a Cattleman crease.

I just saw it today after seeing the above. Seems to me to need a larger brim, but what I found out with my last deal with them is that they're extremely accommodating with requests. Always nice to find out.

The Lost Highway is my take on the Sunbody Open Road. It is the exact same hat...only as a fedora style.

Specs?

2 1\2 inch brim... bout 5 1\4 inch on the front pinch.

Short answer... I would say yes.

Pardon my ignorance, but who is Jimmy? Looking at the first pic, I thought the brim was bound. Now I see it's not

Considering the prices they ask, their hats seem super nice! I need to do some serious thinking before next season - and maybe I should also brush off my spelling of the word "savings"

I just watched a video of a guy in a hat shop showing how to shape Sunbody hats.

Nice to see that my method is not wrong.

New fine weave, 3" brim. Bought as an open crown. Shaping into a cattleman's crease was pretty easy. I think the brim is going to need a little more work, but happy with the hat overall.

I'm looking at the 3" SunBody fedora (Product #: hg3+F) in standard palm. I'm after a hat to keep the sun off me but not something as refined or delicate as a Panama hat. I'd like something that I don't have to baby and hide from a light rain.

Do any of you have this hat? Any thoughts or recommendations?

I'm not a fan of the open road style (I do love the Stratoliners) but you make this hat look great. I love the shape in profile and the thin ribbon is perfect.
