I have posted this photo on another thread on FL but it is also appropriate here. This is al Optimo Blue longhair I purchased perhaps 10 or more years ago. I do not wear it that frequently as I have many Optimo fedoras. However, I like the look and I am now wearing it as we go into Fall.

Certainly an interesting hat, Brent. It all comes down to price of course and sometimes the fun ends when you actually own the thing you covet (there's a saying in Dutch with that moral to it, but I don't know the English equivalent).

It’s more of a novelty for me, so I’d have to get it cheap. Interesting, but I don’t think it would see much use...probably what happened with the original purchaser.

Modern production Stetson "Firenze" in Navy. Had heard a lot of good and bad about this one.....I got the good! Wonderful satin finish!!! AND the felt is NOT at all hard or stiff (as I have read some are), BUT is in fact, quite soft (though a bit on the thick side as many of the more modern Royal Deluxe/Sovereign are)! Additionally, this model is supposed to have a 2 3/8 brim.....but....this is just over 2 1/2 all around! Did I mention the awesome black lining? Yep, this will get some use! VERY DRESSY and sharp hat! DID NOT think Stetson made ANYTHING like this anymore!

Cool looking hat, isn't it? Exactly my size and I have it in my watch list. Doubt if I'm going to bid though. Grown more than a bit wary of Ebay with all its additional costs on top of the final bidding price.
