Here’s a late 50’s-early 60’s (correct me if I’m wrong) Pendleton, since the only one I’ve seen on this thread ended up as a conversion. The brim width is 3 1/2” and 3/8” binding. Kind of a cool style, but a little too small for me.

Resistol beaver twenty that I picked up a month or so ago. Two and 5/8” mode edge (or whatever resistol called theirs), no liner in mine, some hinky bumps in the sweat but still incredibly pliable, but it’s an awesome beater that is seeing plenty of head time and has a nice weight for summer.

My guess is early to mid 50’s mostly based on the patent number on the sweat.

Oh and I did notice that the order tag is on the left side of the red bow as you look at it brim up, so did resistol do that to the dress hats as opposed to cowboy hats?

A rare find that I hope ends up with a FL member or two who will appreciate it. Too bad the other one wasn’t.
I am open to trades for the Pendleton, if an established member has a western style bound brim that's a my size that i like.

Kind of glad the kitten finish wasn't too small :D, it turned out to be closer to a 7 1/8 than the 1/4 that it was labeled, so actually fits perfectly.

That Pendleton is a real beauty, are you only open to trades and not a sale ? I don't have anything that matches your description. If it's a true 7 I'd be very interested.

The 20 is gorgeous, too.

Hi all you Resistol experts!
Could someone shed some light on the model and year of this piece that I recently picked up on the bay?
It has an original price tag of 13.50, a 2 3/4 inch brim, and is marked 5x beaver. Looks like one of the OR style models. Could it be a San Antonio?
It’s going to need some cleaning and shaping up, but is in good condition overall.
