The Red Shoes

As a bit of an amateur, I'm asking for some hair advice. Can anyone instruct me in how to achieve a style similar to that of the ballerina Victoria Page (played by Moira Shearer) in the 1948 film The Red Shoes? I'm always looking for styles for slightly longer than midi hair, and hers looks absolutely wonderful.
Any help appreciated!
