Hi Everyone! Its been a while since the last time, I hope all of you gentlemen are doing all right. I'm back on here because I recently acquired a new jacket, my first ever The Real McCoys, and I wanted to share with you some pics. I'm planning on doing an in-depth review this weekend so not much info for now, just to say that I was a bit worried about the size as this jacket is obviously on the expensive side but I think everything came up nicely It is a truly magnificent piece!

Thank you everyone! I'm glad you liked it and I'm glad some of you mentioned the fit as I was a bit worried! Feels a bit tight on the shoulders but I think a size larger would have messed with the arms and body proportions on me, I hope it will give just enough over time to adjust to my body, it doesn't feel uncomfortable tho so that's good. Also, this is my first Shinki leather and I gotta say it is fantastic, it feels sturdy and soft at the same time? It is hard to explain but it seems like a tank could run over it without feeling like an armor. Funny enough it is quite similar in tone and consistency to one of my old 70s Schotts A2, but way more refined. And the smell! They should sell Shinki perfume.

House model or contract?

It is the house model. Well, one of the few house models they have. The current version which I believe is the MJ18101 its slightly roomier, this one the 12103 is the slimmest they have as far as I know. I would say the fit is VERY similar to the Eastman Slender model, which I have owned, the main differences being the correlation between body and sleeve length (TRMC has more sleeve length for the same body length) and the biggest one, the belly room, where TRMC has a narrower trunk the Slender has a lot of room, which is clearly visible especially on the back.

Zip all the way up in both photos:

Again, I'm planning on doing a video review but it is gonna take me a little while as I still have to shot all the footage and edit it nicely.

What a nice jacket! Congratulations!! Fit seems just about perfect.

On a sidenote: your Eastman ‚Slender‘ was the reason For me buying that jacket. Haven’t worn it in a while, but it’s still my absolute favourite summer jacket.

Thank you! It was a fantastic jacket indeed and I'm glad my experience with it was helpful to you, not the first time I've regretted selling it! Even if you have "better ones" or just more historically accurate ones it was perfect for everyday use without being worried about getting it scratched or something like that... Also, Eastman´s hides are always a win!

Any update pics please? :)
I am deciding between getting this one or an Aero Bronco in Tobacco Badalassi.
I do prefer the aniline Badalassi over pigment finish, but this cut of the RMC is just so SHARP!!
Really curios to see how this leather ages!
