My wife has a ring she really likes at a local jewelry store that's in that price range. If she ever decides she REALLY wants that ring, I have a bargaining chip.
Perry, in the late 40's ACME Boots commissioned Lucchese to build a boot for all the states to be used in a nationwide ad campaign. It took two years or so for the design and construction of the boots. Through theft and loss, only 10 or 12 pair are known to remain.
I have never seen a FL pair but they are available. See below.
That ain't nothing.

This is a clever "ribbon" trick. I may have to steal it in the future. Thank you for sharing! Here's a Serratelli 'Truman' I just finished refurbished. I'll have more later in the conversion corral. I don't know what the manufacturer had in mind with this hat but it was pretty whopper - jawed. Looks like they were attempting to replicate an OR style hat that President Truman used to wear. The manufacturer's label listed two different felt quality designations for this hat, 4X and 6X. But on the sweat, it was stamped, 3X Beaver. The label also listed a 9/16 brim binding and a 2 ply hat band, but the brim binding and 2 ply hat band colors don't match, and the hat band was way too long. Anyway, I took this hat apart and reworked it and put all the original stuff back in, and 'fedoratized' it. I also came up with a solution for the excess ribbon.....

Silver Sand or Silverbelly Sand is a new one on me. I like that in the outdoor natural light. I have a Mallory by Stetson that is Sand Peble (as spelled). It's not tan at all. It's light gray.Adam Texas E
Wow DD! What a nice collection, every last one of them! The Waco & the Open Trail have to be hard to find. Thanks for posting them in this thread. Here are some Resistols and a Dobbs West.
Thanks Jack! My thanks to @BobHufford for letting me know about the Waco. When I bought the Waco, I also bid on a Saddler, but it went higher than I thought it would, probably because it was sold at Nudies.Wow DD! What a nice collection, every last one of them!
